About Crossave

Crossave is an independent price-comparison project. It compares the same product across stores and countries and shows the real total cost of buying it — not just the sticker price, but shipping and estimated import duty and VAT too. The goal is simple: when you order from abroad, you should know what you'll actually pay before you order, with no surprise at customs.

Why it exists

Online, the price you see is rarely the price you pay when the seller is in another country: shipping, customs duty and import VAT can change the total a lot. Crossave was built to make that total visible up front, and to compare it fairly across marketplaces and countries — so the cheapest sticker price isn't mistaken for the cheapest real cost.

How it works

For each search, Crossave looks across eBay marketplaces and Google Shopping in many countries, converts everything to your currency, and adds an estimate of import duty and VAT for your destination (see how we calculate). It also flags, automatically, suspicious prices, higher counterfeit-risk channels and possible wrong editions — as heuristics, never as certainties.

What we promise (and what we don't)

• No invented data. When we don't know a figure (for example shipping a store doesn't state), we write "n/a" — we never turn a blank into a zero.
• Order by real cost, never by commission. Some outbound links may earn us a small affiliate commission at no extra cost to you; this never changes the ranking, which is always the lowest real total cost.
• We're not a shop. Crossave doesn't sell, take payments or ship anything — every purchase happens on the seller's own site, to which we send you.
• Estimates, not guarantees. Prices and duty are estimates from external sources and can change; always check on the store before buying.

Who's behind it
